Here, you can read about my research projects:
- Gut homeostasis & pathogen shedding: while a Marie-Skłodowska-Curie fellow, I explored mechanisms of pathogen shedding and disease transmission using mutant Drosophila.
- Disease transmission within pollinators: I combine ecological networks and virome sequencing to understand virus epidemiology in agricultural landscapes.
- The Trans-Bee project: a meta-analysis of transcriptomes from honey bees infected by diverse pathogens and parasites.
- Honey bee health: I investigated the potential interaction between multiple stressors (pesticides and pathogens) on honey bee fitness.
- The atypical mtDNA of woodlice: my PhD project. I studied the structure and evolution of the isopod mitochondrial genome.
- Evolution after gene duplication: my MSc project. I studied the evolution of a gene family, the cathepsin B, following multiple duplications in aphids.
